Transfagarasan Inauguration
On September 20, 2014, marks 40 years since the inauguration of the national road Transfagarasan (built in 1974), linking the historical region of Transylvania and Wallachia.
The road was built pass over the Fagaras Mountains and ascends to an altitude of 2042 m near Balea Lake, the second road in Romania, as high, as Transalpina
