Ion Tiriac officially opened Tiriac Collection, a gallery of around 80 cars of the 250 held, the oldest being a Hurtu produced in 1899 and the newest is a Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren Stirling Moss Edition produced in 2009 in a limited edition of 75 units. Among the most famous examples of his collection include a Rolls Royce Phantom which previously belonged to Elton John, a Mercedes-Benz 600 sedan from the 60s, an Aston Martin DB5, known for films James Bond, but also a 1977 Harley Davidson motorcycle.
