Ellis Island, between January 1, 1892 and November 12, 1954, was the main entrance of immigrants in the United States. In digital gallery of New York Public Library there is a collection of William Williams (1862-1947) collected by him during the work at Ellis Island Immigration comisioar Immigration Station in New York in 1902-1905 and 1909-1913.
