    I am an American who lived in Bucharest during this period – 1986-88. Curious as to who this photographer is. I remember well these scenes, support flight, etc.

      The source of those photos is muzeuldefotografie.ro . As the source presents , the photos were taken by a person having the initials S E , which worked in US embassy in Bucharest between 1984-1986.
