In 1883, Prince Rudolf of Habsburg order achieve an encyclopedia covering the whole territory of the Austro-Hungarian Empire.
The penultimate volume of the encyclopedia (1902) is dedicated to Transylvania and includes lots of information about traditions, costumes, songs and heritage of all nations in the province, as well as images of towns, information about government and economics.
